A Little About Me
I’m Emily, the founder of EV Editing.
My background includes six years as an award-winning copywriter and content editor. I have multiple certifications from the Publishing Training Centre, as well as a degree from the University of Nottingham, where I studied literature in English, French and Spanish.
Outside client work, I’m also a writer and reader with a deep love of speculative fiction. I share insights and behind-the-scenes thoughts on Substack and TikTok, and I recently self-published a gothic short story collection.
I enjoy hiking and the great outdoors. In fact, this photo was taken in my favourite country, Iceland. The hiking boots I was wearing have since fallen to pieces!
I know first-hand how vulnerable it can feel to release your manuscript into the world. My aim is always to meet that vulnerability with thoughtful editorial guidance and clear communication. If this is something you are looking for, I am excited to work together.
